Duke....the adventure that never ends.
First, I blame myself for last nights loss. I had a terrible stomach flu last night. Was not aware a human body could have much liquid in it. Nevertheless, I stuck it out until hafl time, where we were leading 30-23. I then went to bed. Wake up, find out we gave up 65 points in the SECOND HALF, AND LOST. Blame is on me Coach k.
Seriously though...looking at it, the tourney is a reminder that a one game thing can go the other way, and its mostly young kids we are dealing with here. Duke played a terrible game last night, from the first half I saw. The fact we didnt really have a true point guard reared its ugly head. And Harry Giles...wow. Can't see him coming out for NBA, who the hell would pick him?
Gotta agree with Red, Kansas, who I did see yesterday, looks like the team to beat now, though I wont count out the extremely ugly step-children UNC just yet, heheheheh. Kentucky? Don't have outside shooters from what I could see (and have seen) to advance to win it all. Off today sick, but will find the strength to, somehow, drink about 6 cocktails and kill any bacteria in my digestive system...then about 6 more to forget this tourney! LOL After day 1, I was like 101 in the CBS bracket pool, now I am 896,000, LOL
